Dear men

This is a letter for you in June, I want you to read this after June, every day, because June only has 30 days, and this is for a lifetime. I am writing this to remind you that you are great and that you will be okay.

Dear son, dear brother, dear husband, dear father, you are not alone; love keeps us together. I see you standing as the backbone under so much pressure, easily susceptible to depression, scared of the impression because all eyes are on you. You are an anchor, but make sure you anchor yourself safely. Your survival kit, your armor, is your safety.

Do not let the sweat of every day stop your tears from falling; it's okay to feel pain, and it is okay to cry. Yes, men should cry; men are mortal, and tears are a sign of mortality - it's now a reality. Carrying heavy weights, stiff hands, pulled-out muscles, but breaking on the inside - but do not sink deep, breathe.

Masculinity should not be measured by the quality of your suffering and anguish. They say soldiers do not retreat or surrender, but it is an order to be at ease and take a break. Freedom comes with strength and vigor, so yes, soldier, retreat and surrender all your burdens, take them off your sleeves to live. To live is to survive, not in distress but in rest; let your armor be a safe place where your mind is free.

Do not let your masculinity land you in chaos but tranquility and equality with your being and humanity. Before the fight becomes a threat, take a flight to the Maldives, lie beside the beach, until you reach the lifeline. Men's mental health matters every day. We need happy and healthy men. Take care.
