IPhone 17: Not Just New Design But NEW STRATEGY - 3 months ago

Apple just released the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max, and they are already out for sale. What’s interesting is that no one is really talking about the iPhone 17 at all, simply because it carries the same features as the iPhone 16. This is actually one thing I admire about Apple’s marketing strategy.

As a business individual who wants to sell, you must have a great marketing strategy that attracts consumers to go for the most expensive item on your cart. Many individuals won’t even go for the iPhone 17 because, to them, it looks just like the 16. No one will believe you’re holding an iPhone 17 except those who can actually differentiate between phones. And in Nigeria especially, people only believe what they see 😂. Nigerians won’t believe you’re using the latest iPhone if it’s not easily recognizable.

Apple isn’t just releasing new iPhones; they’re making people buy into what they are selling through their strategy and new initiatives in design and features. For instance, the iPhone 16 came with two vertical camera lines, while the new set introduces horizontal cameras along with a new case and upgraded camera features. It feels more like a collection of iPhones. Nigerians are already looking for ways to get their hands on the new models because, to them, owning an iPhone is a sign of luxury and wealth.

Every business that survives always finds new ways of selling. No business survives by sticking to the same way they started. It could be by making use of new technologies, leveraging customer reviews, adding funny content to advertisements, or even using current trends to attract customers.
