LECTURERS VS. TIME MANAGEMENT!

"I love when LECTURERS say 'just a minute' and then proceed to talk for 30 minutes straight. It's like they have a PhD in time manipulation!

 I'm starting to think they have a secret pact with time itself. 'Just a minute' becomes 'just an hour', and before you know it, the lecture is over, and you're still scribbling notes like a mad person. 

And don't even get me started on when they say 'I'll summarize this quickly'. Quickly? Are they kidding me? It's like they have a different definition of 'quickly'!  It's like, 'I'll summarize this in 5 minutes' and then they talk for 20 minutes, summarizing nothing. 

But you know what the best part is? When you try to sneak out of the lecture hall, and they catch you! 'Don't you have somewhere to be?' No, I just have a sudden urge to breathe fresh air and stretch my legs outside the lecture hall.
