How Long Till Dawn?

A new dawn birth another day.
A day today calls "tomorrow."
A day tomorrow calls the "future."
A future with unknown promises.
A promise of a bittersweet reality.
Which in either way will make or mar us.

A new dawn birth a new hope.
A hope that all humans believe it will bring them joy.
The reason for the joy only the dawn can tell.
We tell it to each other every day "better days ahead" and so we strive.
But till when will it be a new dawn?

A new dawn will birth a new atmosphere.
An atmosphere where healings, love and kindness won't be polluted.
Healings from the known and unknown.
Love with sacrifice and pure intentions.
Kindness not mistaken for flirt
Oh how I wish it will be dawn soon!

A new dawn we all expect when we've retire after the day's struggle.
A struggle to make earns meet of which we'll leave behind at the sunset.
A sunset of life well spent.
Hopefully to be rewarded.

But HOW LONG TILL DAWN?
