A rare incident happened  on October 1st, 1989 that resulted to children being born by 43 women around the world at the same time, what’ strange is that none of these women were pregnant at the time. 

Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire sought to adopt the children, as many as he could. He got Seven of them and then began The Umbrella Academy.

These children; Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Number 5, Ben and Vanya were born with extraordinary abilities but as they grew, they drifted apart. Now their father is death, they must all team up to investigate his mysterious death.

Super strength, super aim, hypnosis, necromancy, teleportation, Alien mutation and one who they thought was the normal one must team up against The Commission, a sinister organization tasked with the preservation of the time continuum. The team must stop the end of the world at all cost.
